  • DO YOU PROVIDE THE ALCOHOL?

    AGLC regulations in Alberta do not allow the sale of alcohol from a mobile bar. The host of the event is responsible for purchasing alcohol and acquiring a Liquor Licence so we can legally dispense any alcoholic beverages. We are more than happy to help you make your beverage selections through our suppliers (kegs & bottle service available) and even pick up and drop off the kegs for no additional charge.

  • WHAT BEVERAGES DO YOU SERVE?

    We can serve most non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages available in kegs by ProServe Certified bartenders. Favourites include locally crafted soda, lemonade, Kombucha, Prosecco, wine, beer, mixed cocktails and our signature “boozy” or “non-boozy” floats. We can also provide a full service bar (with soda mix on tap).

  • WHAT'S A LIQUOR LICENCE?

    A Liquor Licence allows for the sale and service of alcohol on special occasions, such as cash bars at weddings or private receptions, as well as larger public events. A Liquor Licence is required any time alcohol is served anywhere other than in a licensed establishment or a private residence. It is an easy online application.. It is an easy online application!

  • ARE YOU REGULATED?

    Yes, Suds & Sodas is Alberta Health Services approved and holds the proper City of Calgary licensing permits to operate on both public and private property.

  • HOW DO WE KNOW WHAT TO BUY?

    Once we know more about your particular event, we will can help you decide on how much alcohol you need to purchase. We will take care of any non-alcoholic beverages like soda, lemonade and gelato required should you decide to include soda, beer or liquor floats on your menu!

  • WHAT DO WE NEED TO BOOK?

    A 50% deposit is due along with a signed contract to secure Suds & Sodas for your event. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event date. If your event is within 45 days the full amount is due at the time of booking.

  • WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY

    Due to the number of requests and limited spots available, deposits are non-refundable within 30 days of your event. Should your event be cancelled more than 30 days prior to your event a refund of your deposit less a $200 cancellation fee will apply.

  • ANY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS?

    All we need is a standard 120v outlet with a dedicated 15 amp circuit to operate our keg system and freezer unit. We can work with your venue to ensure that it has the power we need. No power? No problem! A generator can be brought on site to accommodate the power needed for an additional fee.

    While we are equipped with couplers for most keg types, specific keg couplers may be required to serve specific beverages for an additional rental fee.

  • CAN WE STYLE SUDS & SODAS?

    Absolutely! There is ample space to customize the look and style of our mobile bars to perfectly match your event. We just kindly ask that no adhesives are used.

  • DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF CALGARY?

    Our home base is in Calgary, Alberta, but we’ll gladly serve Southern Alberta. Inquire about additional travel fees outside of a 30km radius.

  • DO YOU PROVIDE GLASSWARE?

    Suds & Sodas provides compostable toss-ware. If you would like to utilize glassware we can work with you to rent what’s best for your needs.

  • WHAT ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT?

    Using kegs as opposed to individual servings is more environmentally conscience. All of our disposable drink ware, straws and napkins are compostable and we offer compost bin service and collection for an additional fee.

  • I'M LOOKING FOR A UNIQUE DISPLAY. CAN I RENT SUDS & SODAS "DRY"?

    Yes! We will set up at any indoor or outdoor makers festival, artesian, craft, art, farmers market, or trade show for you to uniquely display your products or promotion. Learn more on our Services page!

  • ARE YOU AVAILABLE YEAR ROUND?

    Yes! Suds & Sodas has mobile options that are uniquely compact making it perfect for indoor or outdoor events all year.

  • HOW BIG IS IT?

    Our Piaggio Apé is 132” (11’) Long 76” (6' 4") High and 68” (5' 8") Wide plus a 4” removable stabilizer. The Sambar Tap Truck is 133” (11’ 1”) Long, 70” (5' 10") High and 63” (5' 3") Wide. For indoor events generally we need a loading bay.

    Our Portable Beverage Station is the size of a cooler and can fit anywhere!

  • WHAT ABOUT WEATHER?

    Suds & Sodas Piaggio Apé is equipped with built in awnings that can protect the unit in most weather. Our Sambar Tap truck comes compete with its own umbrella as well. Both are small enough to fit under most event tents. If there is a major weather event we will work with you as best we can.

  • HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

    Every event is unique so please contact us and we will put together a custom quote for you!

  • DO YOU CARRY INSURANCE?

    Yes, we hold Commercial General Liability Insurance and our bartenders are ProServe Certified.
